The Forgotten Village of Otto

Long before the trails were cut, the bluffs overlooking Otter Creek were home to the thriving village of Otto. But thrive, it did not. What began as an isolated settlement soon twisted into a nightmare of unexplained disappearances and madness.

Legend has it the corruption started with Faye Rawley, a reclusive old woman who secretly ran a ruthless counterfeiting ring from the shadows of the bluffs. When the townspeople finally grew suspicious, she vanished into the woods without a trace, taking her cursed fortune—and her vengeance—with her.

The village was eventually abandoned, left to rot beneath the canopy of the woods. Now, the paths of Otto have reopened. Those brave enough to walk its sinister trails report bone-chilling whispers in the dead of night and blood-curdling screams echoing from the creek below.

The residents of Otto never truly left. And they are waiting for you.

Words from the Survivors

Very lengthy trail with just an overall beautiful set up. For the 2nd year doing this it was a great time and well worth the money. Don’t miss out in 2026.

Had a great time! The trail isn't super long but not short either. The haunts were great and I think it was well worth the money. I definitely recomend because I'm not easy to scare and they got me this year several times! Watching them scare the absolute living daylights out of my kid was even better. Not only did I get the scare factor I got the entertainment as well!

For their first year, it was great! I loved their scare scale at the beginning 😆 So nice to have something close to home!!

For a first year spook trail it was great. youngest was 7 and group went up in age from there. They all enjoyed it. Great job and the youngest choose the scariest lol

The most fun we’ve had at a haunted house/trail this year. We’ve been to Bloodmoon manor, terror on the square, and spook hollow. The whole trail kept you wondering what was going to happen instead of constant noise and scares. Everyone liked the bus ride also!

Jodi F.

This was an absolute blast. I put it up there with some of the big ones in the area like Spook Hollow. 11/10. Seriously everyone needs to check this out and support them.

Great trail, they are off to a great start with this one!!! Can't wait to see the growth next year 👍👍

How much does it cost?

Entry is $20 per soul.

How long is the trail?

The nightmare lasts for about 20-30 minutes, unless you are captured by ghosts along the ¾ mile self-guided wooded trail.

How do I get to the trail?

You don't walk to the trail; you are taken. A shuttle bus will transport you from the parking area deep into the woods along the bluffs of Otter Creek.

What happens if it rains?

The mud makes it harder to run. Check our website or Facebook page; we will announce weather-related closures as soon as possible.

What should I wear?

This is an outdoor, wooded trail. You must wear sturdy walking shoes. No open-toed shoes or heels will survive the woods.

Are there strobe lights or fog?

Yes. Thick fog and intense strobe lights are present throughout the trails. This event is not recommended for anyone susceptible to seizures.

Can I touch the actors?

Absolutely not. Do not touch the scare actors under any circumstances. If you break this rule, you will be immediately removed.

Are pets allowed?

No pets. The creatures in the woods don't like competition.

Is there food or drink available?

Yes, beverages and snacks are available at the shuttle pick-up and drop-off area. You'll need something to settle your stomach afterward.

Is it safe?

You are never truly alone out there. First Aid and Security are on the grounds at all times for your protection. Please remember to stay on the marked trails—do not wander into the dark.
